Mrs. James ATKINSON, the former Eva Clarke WILSON, of 182 Hunter Street West, died yesterday at St. Peter’s Infirmary. A native of Belfast, Ireland. Mrs. ATKINSON had resided in Hamilton for the last 53 years and was a member of Erskine Presbyterian Church. Surviving besides her husband are one son, James of Caistor Centre; a daughter, Mrs. George MULHOLLAND (Lenore) of Stratford, Ontario; a brother William WILSON of Hamilton; and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth SNYDER and Mrs. Eleanor ERSKINE, both of Hamilton. The body is at the family residence on Hunter Street West until Saturday at 11a.m. when it will be conveyed to Erskine Presbyterian Church for service at 3:30 o’clock, and burial in Hamilton Cemetery.

ATKINSON, James Walker – At the Chedoke General Hospital on Sunday, December 13, 1964, James Walker ATKINSON, formerly of 182 Hunter Street West; beloved husband of the late Eva Clarke WILSON in his 80th year. Father of James H. of Hamilton and Mrs. George MULHOLLAND (Lenore) of Stratford; brother of Miss Ida ATKINSON of Hamilton. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Member of Erskine Presbyterian Church, member of Orient Chapter, I.O.F. Employee of the Steel Company of Canada for 30 years, retiring in 1955. Resting at J.B. MARLATT Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East, (east of Sanford Avenue). Service in MARLATT Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 11a.m. Interment in Hamilton Cemetery.
LEPRECHAUNRABBIT’s NOTES:  “James H.” was James Henry (my grandfather), and he had six children (William, James, Ethel, Barbara, Shirley and Robert); and seven grand-children (William had one child [Shelley], James George had four children [James Jr, Gabrielle, John and Beverley], and Ethel had two children [Kale and Mark], when his father J.W. passed away.
 Lenore had four children (George Clarke, Lorne, June and Edward); and three grandchildren (George Clarke had three girls [Elizabeth, Janet and Patricia]).
